NOVELS TO READ

                                                                Mrs  Jennifer Crusie

One thing I like about Librarianship is that one get's to read a lot of books. If you enjoy reading then you should put the following in your " TO READ LIST". Plus if I recommend a book myself then its a must read. ;)

Let's start with Jennifer Cruise's Fast Women, a novel. Here's what the blurb says,
Nell Dysart is living a too small life in a too small apartment. Her marriage is finished, her career is in limbo, and she  feels she has the sex appeal of a skeletal giraffe. But things might be about to change, for Nell has landed a job at a down- and out  detective agency with huge potential for redecoration and a boss who looks easy to manage. A quick spot of dachshund napping, blackmail, and embezzlement later and Nell can scarcely believe her life was ever dull. But when somebody starts killing people and unprofessional sex becomes a sticky situation, she starts to wonder just how many more thrills one woman's life can withstand....
Not bad huh?! I think in this book Jennifer Crusie proved just how much of  an excellent writer she is. She can be funny, she can be anything. And that's just the beauty of holding a book and reading away. And and in this book she's full of humor you would not want to put it down..

The next book i recommend is Virginia Andrews' Unfinished Symphony

I was not at all excited about this book because i can not deal with sad stories. Accidents happen, people die, children are orphaned, its all just sad.
Unfinished Symphony is a novel about a young girl, Melody Logan, who lived her life with the believe  that her parents perished in a fire. But tables did turn around when her friend spotted Melody;s mother, Haille, in a modelling catalogue. Yes her mother did not die in the fire, but why did she fake her own death?
Determined to find answers, Melody goes all the way to search for her mother. She knows she deserves the truth that would at last set her free.

Haille, Melody's mother just makes me burn with anger all through out this book. I mean who let's their child go through the pain of being orphaned? Virginia Andrews sure knows how to play around with a reader's feelings!
